Description

This year the participants in the Mangialonga will walk the western paths of the Levanto valley.

The Mangialonga is a food and wine walk through the paths of the Levanto valley, with stops in the villages, tasting of the typical products of the local tradition and musical entertainment. The event is organized by the Municipality and the "Occhio blu" tourist consortium with the collaboration of over a hundred volunteers who are dedicated to cleaning the paths, providing assistance along the way, preparing the menus and distributing the dishes.

Il percorso orientale tocca le frazioni di Ridarolo, Fontona, Chiesanuova, Pastine, Vignana, Legnaro, ed altri ancora!

I piatti proposti dai cuochi si rifanno alla tradizione ligure.Il menu del 2026 è ancora da definirsi, ma l’anno passato, tra altre cose, comprendeva di: ravioli, trofie al pesto, pasta alla contadina, lattughe ripiene, spuntini con acciughe e focaccia, il “gattafin” (la tipica frittella di erbe levantese), castagnaccio e ricotta ed altre specialità.

Along the way you can visit ancient mills, renovated oil mills and private cellars where the locals welcome walkers by offering more glasses of "white" and freshly prepared snacks with cold cuts and cheeses.

Since the limited number of participants is in effect (a thousand participants), it is advisable to book well in advance.

Should it rain, the event will be postponed to the next Sunday. Tickets are not refundable, but will remain valid for the next date.

If you are in Levanto

To buy tickets, you can go to the Ospitalia del Mare hostel in Levanto (via San Nicolò 1) at the following times: 8:00-12:30 / 16:00-19:30 (every day). Here you can only pay in cash.

If you are outside Levanto

To buy tickets remotely, it is possible to make a bank transfer with the total amount due to the following bank account:

L’evento avrà fine alle 19.00. Dopo le 19.00 le tappe saranno rimosse e l’evento avrà termine.
