You can arrive in Levanto by car, by train or by plane.
Take the A 12 highway direction Genova/Livorno and exit at Carrodano-Levanto. From the highway exit follow signs to Levanto, after 12 km of roads in the Ligurian Hills you’ll find in the city center.
Exit: Carrodano – Levanto
Choose an inter-regional train line Turin – Genoa – Rome or a direct intercity and from Milan Central Station and get off at Levanto. If you want to reach the Cinque Terre for a day trip or spend a day at the beach you can take regional trains and easily reach the pearls of the Ligurian coast, there is also a six-hour valid ticket which allows you to hop on and off in each of the villages (the ticket is one-way). To book train tickets go to the website of Trenitalia. If you want to buy them at the ticket station of Levanto and the Cinque Terre remember that they are open from 6.10 am to 7.30 pm.

If you arrive by plane, the closest airports are the Galileo Galilei of Pisa and the Cristoforo Colombo of Genoa, which are about 80km from Levanto. Once landed, you can rent a car, following the instructions on how to get here by car, take the train, following the relative instructions, or book a private transfer.
