SenSuoSa, or Paths, Sounds and Flavors
A guided food and wine tour through the Levanto valley, between nature, music, joy and typical recipes and food.
The participation fee includes guided tour, dinner with traditional dishes, wines, concert and minibus back to town.
Piano di San Rocco – Ridarolo – San Bartolomeo – Pastine
The itinerary winds through the central part of the Levanto valley. Leaving the village through the door of San Martino, follow the ancient Via dei Monti to Piano di San Rocco, from where you reach the hamlet of Ridarolo (church of San Giovanni Battista from the 14th century with extensions from the 16th century and XVIII). Once past the former Villa Taliacarne (17th century), continue on to San Bartolomeo, a small isolated church in the countryside (15th century) and from there, along a path that winds through woods and olive groves, you reach Pastine Superiore (Chapel of S. Maria Assunta with a wooden statue from the 18th century Genoese school.)
Trio Persa légia: a tribute to Italian singer-songwriters. André) was established in 2016 on the initiative of three professors of the Liceo Scientifico “A. Pacinotti ”- Section of Levanto – lovers of Italian singer-songwriter tradition. He has to his credit concerts and participation in musical events with a repertoire ranging from Francesco De Gregori to Fabrizio De André, from Antonello Venditti to Francesco Guccini.
The Trio is composed by Giuseppe Mignemi (voice and guitar), Andrea Manuguerra (vocals, guitar and mouth organ) and Manlio Riccobaldi (mandolin).
At the end of the concert you can taste some dishes and products of the Ligurian culinary tradition. The evening menu includes trofie with pesto (handmade fresh pasta with basil sauce), gattafin (fried ravioli stuffed with local herbs) and a homemade typical cake. We’ll be obviously drinking the wine of the Levanto valley.
The bus back to town is scheduled around 10 p.m.
