The Agricultural Cooperative of Farmers was created to prevent the gradual abandonment of olive groves and vineyards, thus helping to preserve the land. It produces Colline di Levanto DOC Wine and owns a mill where farmers’ olives are pressed obtaining Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Extra Virgin Olive Oil DOP. Inside the building there is a laboratory for the production of citrus preserves and honey. Here you can also take guided tastings.
Vallata di Levanto Farmers Cooperative works in the towns on La Spezia‘s coast, adjacent to the “National Park of Cinque Terre“. It gained a recognition in August 1995 for its DOC wine Colline di Levanto (Levanto, Bonassola, Framura, Deiva Marina).
